Warranty
Saunas are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, not ours. Our job is to make the claim happen instead of leaving you on a support line.
Coverage varies by manufacturer. The exact warranty term for each model will be stated on that product page and in the documentation that ships with the unit. The summary below describes what these warranties generally look like across the category.
What is usually covered
| Component | Typical residential coverage |
|---|---|
| Cabin, wood structure, and joinery | 3 to 7 years |
| Infrared heating panels / emitters | 3 to 5 years, sometimes lifetime on far-infrared panels |
| Traditional heater and control unit | 1 to 3 years |
| Electronics, control panel, audio, lighting | 1 to 2 years |
| Glass and hardware | 1 to 3 years |
What is usually not covered
- freight damage — that is a carrier claim, handled separately
- commercial use of a residentially warranted unit
- damage from improper wiring, over-current, or an unqualified installation
- weather damage to an indoor-rated unit installed outdoors
- normal wood movement: minor checking, colour change, and seasonal gapping
- consumables such as bulbs and sauna rocks
- units modified from their original configuration
Protecting your coverage
Two things void more sauna warranties than anything else: wiring a hardwired unit without a licensed electrician, and installing an indoor-rated cabin outside or in an unconditioned garage. If you are unsure which category your installation falls into, ask us first.
Keep your order confirmation and the serial number label from the cabin. Both are required to open a claim.
How we handle a claim
- You send us the order number, serial number, photographs, and a description.
- We open the claim with the manufacturer directly and stay on it.
- The manufacturer ships replacement parts, usually by parcel, at no cost to you.
- We follow up until the part arrives and the unit works.
Most warranty repairs on saunas are component swaps — a control board, an emitter, a door hinge — and are within reach of a competent homeowner. Where a repair requires an electrician, that labour is normally your cost unless the manufacturer states otherwise.
