Where we ship

We ship to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO boxes, or internationally. Some rural ZIP codes carry a limited-access surcharge from the carrier; if yours does, we will tell you before we charge your card, not after.

What curbside delivery means

Standard freight delivery is curbside. The carrier brings the pallet to the end of your driveway or the nearest safe point their truck can reach, lowers it to the ground, and leaves. The driver will not:

• carry the sauna into your house, garage, or backyard
• unpack, assemble, or install anything
• remove packaging materials or the pallet
• wait while you inspect at length or make arrangements

Plan on two to four people, or a hand truck and an appliance dolly, to move the crate from the curb. Most saunas ship in multiple boxes on one pallet, which makes them easier to move piece by piece than the shipping weight suggests.

Scheduling and appointment windows

Residential freight deliveries are made by appointment. The carrier calls the phone number on the order to arrange a window, usually four hours wide, on a weekday during business hours. A working phone number is required.If the carrier cannot reach you, the shipment sits in a terminal and storage fees begin to accrue, which are the customer's responsibility.

Typical timeline from order to delivery is 1 to 3 weeks depending on the manufacturer's stock position and your distance from their warehouse. We give you the actual estimate for your specific model before you pay.

Liftgate service

Freight trucks load and unload from a dock. If you do not have a loading dock, you need liftgate service, a powered platform that lowers the pallet to ground level. Most residential deliveries need it. We include it by default on residential orders and will tell you if the model or address is an exception.

Inspect before you sign — this part matters

Once you sign the delivery receipt clean, you have accepted the shipment as undamaged, and a later damage claim becomes very difficult to win. Before you sign:

1. Walk all four sides of the pallet and look at the top.
2. Photograph the pallet from every side before anything is moved.
3. Look for crushed corners, punctures, water staining, a shifted or leaning load, and torn shrink wrap.
4. Count the pieces against the packing list. Short shipments are as much of a problem as damaged ones.
5. If anything looks wrong, write it on the delivery receipt before signing. Be specific: "carton 2 of 4, corner crushed, 6 inch puncture" beats"damaged."
6. If the damage is severe, you may refuse the entire shipment. Note the reason on the receipt and call us the same day.

Site access and preparation

Before your delivery date, confirm that a 53-foot tractor trailer can reach your address. Narrow lanes, low branches, steep or unpaved driveways, gated communities, and tight cul-de-sacs all cause failed deliveries. If a truck cannot make the delivery, the carrier charges a redelivery fee and it is passed through at cost.

For outdoor saunas, have the pad, deck, or foundation finished and level before delivery. For indoor saunas, measure your doorways, hallway turns, and stairwell before you order, not after the pallet is on your driveway.

Shipping cost

Freight is quoted per model and per destination and is shown on the product page and again at checkout before you pay. We do not add hidden fees after checkout. If a carrier assesses a surcharge that we did not disclose to you in advance, we absorb it.

If you are unsure whether a truck can reach your address, or how you will move the pallet once it lands, ask us before you order. Freight problems are much cheaper to prevent than to fix.
