Who we are

What we collect

• Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and anything you write to us.
• Order information: what you bought, when, and for how much. We do not store your full card number — card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Site usage: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location from IP address, and device type.

Why we collect it

• to process, review, and fulfill your order
• to give the freight carrier the contact details they need to schedule delivery
• to answer your questions and support warranty and damage claims
• to detect fraudulent orders — a real risk on high-ticket freight goods
• to comply with tax and accounting obligations
• to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with the parties who make an order happen:

• Stripe — payment processing and fraud screening
• The manufacturer of the product you ordered — to fulfill it
• The freight carrier — name, address, phone, to schedule delivery
• Our email provider — to send order and shipping notifications
• Analytics and hosting providers — Cloudflare

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks for their own purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site and checkout to function, and aggregate analytics to see which pages help people. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Order records are retained for seven years for tax, warranty, and accounting purposes. Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for two years. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.

Your rights

Email [email protected] to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to ask what we hold. We will respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot delete records we are legally required to retain, such as completed order and tax records.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe. Access to order data is restricted to the people who need it to run the business.

Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the review date at the bottom of this page and, where the change affects an existing order, notify affected customers by email.
